Gaia Java is no longer selling coffee — or anything else for that matter.
A notice went up on the company’s door at 1300 Stittsville Main St. last week stating that the landlord, Choice Properties REIT, had terminated their lease for failure to pay rent.
Gaia Java was opened by Paul Melsness and Paul Jay around 2010. They later sold it in February 2016 to Dan Godkin and Bernie McNaught.
